The
Anonymous Town Employee Email
I am not sure exactly why I
received this, but it's pretty friggin' funny. It's an email that
was sent out to all City employees. It looks like the guy who sent
the angry response sent it out to everyone who works for the city.
He should really learn how use email. I really like his sarcasm
though, this guy is funny!
Once again all important info
has been changed to protect the "innocent."
1. The Original
Message:
To All
Employees:
It has been brought to my attention that there has been a problem with the
installation of the new IRS withholding tax tables in our financial
accounting system. The result is that some individuals may notice a
significant reduction in their tax withholding in tomorrow's check
resulting in a higher net wage then normal. The error will be corrected
in the next payroll. If your check is one of those impacted and you
would like the payroll office to adjust the next check's withholding to
include the underwithheld amount, please e-mail or send an inter-office
memo to Mrs. Pearbody in payroll and she will make the necessary
adjustment in the next payroll. Otherwise, the correct amount will be
withheld from the next pay period on.
Thank you for your understanding regarding this
matter.

#1:
No, Bill, don't thank me for
my understanding regarding this matter. I have no understanding regarding
this matter. It is beyond me how we can keep pouring money into something
that doesn't perform as expected. If it were a teacher we'd say it wasn't
qualified to teach; if it were a janitor we'd say it wasn't cleaning up.
If it were a Superintendent of Schools what would we say?
Let's just say that this
regrettable and truly beyond comprehension! Why keep pouring money into a
system that doesn't perform. It's AMASE'ing, truly AMASE'ing and
it's turning the steering staff at the SAU into the laughing-stock of
school systems all around, except for @#$%^&*, they've their own set
of amazing but true nightmares with their accounting.
Frankly, those that made the decision to go with AMASE should be held
accountable
--and let the madness stop! Why keep pouring money into systems that
don't work.
Don't you think it's about time?

Angry Response #2:
Bill:
I haven't received a response from you regarding your announcement that
the AMASE'ing program is not living up to expectations. What do you plan
to do about this mess? Why do we at the SAU have to keep putting up with
this lack of service and paying for something that doesn't perform and
worst of all keeps Technicians who are needed at the schools busy with the
faulty software, and Secretaries busy with something that shouldn't have
to tax their patience and Administrators doing the fandango.
I will not accept this! It is a disgraceful mess and those who are
responsible should be held accountable.
It is about time, John. You know it is.
Sincerely
Angry Joe
