How
Safe Are Your Illegal Drugs? Aside from the usual level of paranoia, do you feel safe sparking your bong? I am sure that you are worried about "the man" knocking on your door, but there are other concerns that you should have given the nature of things in the world right now. We have reached a day and age where going to the Post Office is now something that you have to think long and hard about. Is it worth the risk? Am I willing to die just to make sure that Ed McMahon receives my guaranteed prize form? I am not talking about crazed postal workers, I am of course referring to our lovely biological terror of a friend, Happy Mr. Anthrax. Sure, they were a good band back in the 80's, but believe me they are much less fun as a form of death and suffering. Getting back to the point, everyone knows that Osama Bin Asswipe has been involved in the drug trade very heavily at one time or another. Hell, we even traded him guns for some really white china back in the 80's. If they are in fact the ones responsible for the recent outbreak of Anthrax then what would stop them from contaminating our illegal drug supply? It seems to me like that would be a really easy way to infect a lot of people. I have never been a user of heavy drugs, and in fact I have never tried them. I have been a "recreational pot smoker" in the past, and dying for my habits was never a concern of mine. Since the US Government doesn't screen illegal drugs for purity, however, it is a valid concern. The government is putting all sorts of resources into guarding against bio-terrorism, but they are leaving the back door wide open. My suggestion - Legalize it. By "it" I am referring to Marijauna, a drug that is far less dangerous than alcohol. The government could then monitor the quality and purity just like they do with other fun products such as tobacco (which is also far worse than Marijuana). You may be wondering how that helps all of the smack addicts and crackheads in the country? It doesn't. We could use less of them feeding off our society. Anthrax isn't contagious, so it would simply weed out the bottom of the barrel trash. On the other hand we would be preserving the mellow hippies that the world could use more of (I have hippie in my blood). This may seem a bit harsh, but remember they have an alternative - give up the junk. Quit. Save yourself now.
