Roxio
Easy CD Creator 5 Sucks
As many of you are well
aware, we here at Heferito.com have taken it upon ourselves to expose
injustice and crap in the world in order to save you from it. We
expose ourselves, through sheer luck, to the shittiest products and
services on a daily basis. It is our hope that passing this
information on to you will save you from suffering the same aggravation.
Our latest battle is against
the Nazi bastard cocksuckers over at Roxio, the makers of Easy CD Creator
5. I am sure that you have seen their wonderful commercials on MTV.
Well allow me to assure you that the only thing easy about this piece of
software is taking a dump on the CD, lighting it on fire, and leaving it
on the doorstep of your least favorite neighbor. Not only will they
have to deal with flaming shit, but if they actually install the software
you will receive an added bonus - the cries of pain and anger caused by
this terrible product will surely ring through the neighborhood.

I have sent them a letter that conveys my displeasure. Please take
the time to read it below. As soon as I receive a reply I will share
it with you all.
I am writing to
let you know that your product Easy CD Creator 5, is without a doubt THE
WORST CD burning software I have ever had the displeasure of using.
First of all to even get it to work on my machine I had to download a
patch that is meant to be used with an entirely different software
product from another manufacturer. Now that it's finally installed the
usability is very disappointing. First of all, I am unable to burn to
CD-RW discs because it insists that they are full. Also, there is no
easy way to change the order that files will be burned in. The folder
navigation is next to non-existent. Finally, when burning multiple
copies of an audio CD you are never prompted to finalize any of the CD's
that you burn except for the last one. Most users would never notice
that this is happening and would instead sit in front of their CD
players with confused looks while their music refuses to play. I hope
that you are considering serious improvements in future versions of this
product, it sorely needs them.
Sincerely,
Heferito

Well I never did hear back from Roxio. I guess that they didn't feel
that this shitty product was worth defending. Kind of strengthens my
opinion if you ask me.
